- Prepare and maintain operating room equipment and supplies for labor and delivery procedures.
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures.
- Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team during procedures.
- Ensure a safe and sterile environment in the operating room.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate patient care.
- Provide excellent patient care and support during labor and delivery.
- Follow all hospital and surgical protocols and procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of procedures.
- Keep up-to-date with advances in surgical technology and techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work well in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Adapt to different settings and work well with new team members.

Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst) Credential From The National Board Of Surgical Technology And Surgical Assisting (Nbstsa).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Surgical Technologist In A Birth Center Or Labor And Delivery Setting.
Knowledge Of Obstetric Procedures And Equipment, Including Cesarean Sections And Fetal Monitoring.
Ability To Work Independently And Adapt To Different Hospital Policies And Protocols.
Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification And Ability To Obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Within 6 Months Of Hire.
