- Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of ophthalmic services at UC Health.
- Oversee all aspects of ophthalmic care, including clinical operations, patient care, and staff management.
- Ensure that all ophthalmic services are delivered in compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, staff, and other key stakeholders to foster a collaborative and effective work environment.
- Monitor and analyze data on patient outcomes, satisfaction, and operational performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other department leaders to develop and implement system-wide initiatives to enhance the patient experience and improve overall organizational performance.

- Represent UC Health and the ophthalmic department in professional organizations, conferences, and other networking events.
Extensive Experience In Ophthalmic Services: A Sr. Director Of Ophthalmic Services At Uc Health Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In The Field, With A Proven Track Record Of Success In Managing And Leading Ophthalmic Services.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Lead A Team Of Ophthalmic Professionals, Including Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, And Support Staff.
