  1. Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  3. Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care for patients.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  6. Educate patients and their families about communication and swallowing disorders and provide strategies for managing them.
  7. Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  8. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  9. Continuously expand knowledge and skills through professional development and staying up-to-date on advancements in the field.
  10. Foster a positive and compassionate patient experience through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  11. Communicate effectively with colleagues and other team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  12. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  13. Participate in departmental and interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care and other relevant topics.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  15. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions with empathy and professionalism.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Speech Language Pathology From An Accredited Program.

  • Current State License And Certification From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha).

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In An Acute Care Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Various Communication And Swallowing Disorders, As Well As Their Treatments And Interventions.

  • Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Communicate Effectively With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals.
