
RN Pre/Post Special Procedures/Surgery

- Provide exceptional patient-centered care: As a Registered Nurse on our Pre/Post Special Procedures/Surgery team, it will be your responsibility to provide exceptional care to our patients. This includes assessing their needs, developing individualized care plans, and executing those plans with compassion and excellence.
- Assist with patient procedures: You will be responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare professionals with procedures, ensuring that all equipment is properly prepared and that the patient is comfortable and properly positioned.
- Monitor patient's condition: Before and after procedures, it will be your responsibility to monitor the patient's condition and vital signs, ensuring that any changes or concerns are promptly addressed and communicated to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments: Our ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and be responsible for administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, while also closely monitoring for any adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families: As a compassionate caregiver, you will play a key role in educating patients and their families about their treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care. This includes providing emotional support and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Collaborate with healthcare team: You will work closely with physicians, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. This includes communicating any changes in the patient's condition and collaborating on treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records: It will be your responsibility to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients, including documenting procedures, medications, and any changes in condition.
- Adhere to standards and protocols: As a member of our team, you will be expected to follow all hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the highest level of patient safety and quality of care.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment: You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean patient care environment, including ensuring that all equipment is properly sterilized and that infection
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.
Bls And Acls Certifications From The American Heart Association.
Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Ohio.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Pre/Post Surgical Care Or Special Procedures.
Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment With A High Level Of Attention To Detail And Critical Thinking Skills.
