
Registered Nurse - Dialysis

- Provide high-quality care to patients undergoing dialysis treatments.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their overall health before, during, and after dialysis.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on proper dialysis procedures and self-care techniques.
- Ensure proper documentation of patient information and treatment plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Monitor and maintain dialysis equipment and supplies.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher: A Bsn Or Higher Degree Is Typically Required For A Registered Nurse - Dialysis Position At Uchealth. This Level Of Education Provides Nurses With The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Care For Patients With Complex Medical Needs, Such As Those Requiring Dialysis Treatment.
Current Rn License In The State Of Colorado: To Be Considered For A Registered Nurse - Dialysis Role At Uchealth, Candidates Must Hold A Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Colorado. This Ensures That The Nurse Is Qualified And Authorized To Provide Care To Patients Within This State.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Nursing Experience: Uchealth Typically Requires A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Nursing Experience For Their Registered Nurse - Dialysis Positions. This Experience Provides Nurses With The Necessary Clinical Skills And Expertise To Manage Patients With Chronic Kidney Disease And Other Related Conditions.
Certification In Nephrology Nursing (Cnn) Or Certified Dialysis Nurse (Cdn): Many Employers, Including Uchealth, Prefer Or Require Their Registered Nurse - Dialysis Candidates To Hold Certification In Nephrology Nursing Or Dialysis Nursing. This Demonstrates Competency In The Specialized Field Of Dialysis And Ensures That The Nurse Is Up-To-Date With Current Practices And Standards.
Bls And Acls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Typically Required For A Registered Nurse - Dialysis Position At Uchealth.
