  1. Provide expert nursing care to patients with complex orthopedic and neurological conditions.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  3. Assess and monitor patient's condition, including vital signs, medication administration, and other nursing interventions as needed.
  4. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  5. Advocate for patients' needs and ensure their rights are respected.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  7. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address patient care needs.
  8. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of nursing care plans.
  9. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  11. Act as a resource and mentor for other nursing staff.
  12. Continuously update knowledge and skills through participation in educational programs and professional development opportunities.
  13. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  14. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect for patients and their families.
  15. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
  16. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  17. Remain calm and professional in emergency situations.
  18. Maintain a positive attitude and promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  19. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  20. Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, in-services, and trainings.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Colorado.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Rn In An Acute Care Ortho Neuro Setting.

  • Demonstrated Knowledge And Proficiency In Orthopedic And Neurologic Conditions, Treatments, And Interventions.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment And Prioritize Patient Care Effectively.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams And Educate Patients And Families On Treatment Plans And Self-Care.
