  1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to established protocols and standards.
  2. Operate and maintain radiologic equipment to ensure accurate and safe imaging.
  3. Prepare patients for procedures and provide them with necessary information and instructions.
  4. Position patients and adjust equipment for optimal imaging results.
  5. Monitor patients during procedures and report any adverse reactions.
  6. Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  8. Stay up-to-date with advancements in radiologic technology and techniques.
  9. Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ensure proper use of protective equipment.
  10. Educate patients and their families about the imaging procedure and address any concerns or questions.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain quality control standards.
  13. Assist with training and mentoring new or junior radiologic technicians.
  14. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  15. Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
  16. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of conduct.

Job Qualifications
  • Graduation From An Accredited Radiologic Technology Program: Candidates Must Possess A Degree Or Certificate From An Accredited Program In Radiologic Technology.

  • Valid Arrt Certification: The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Certification Is Required For All Radiologic Technicians At Uc Health.

  • State Licensure: Candidates Must Hold A Valid State License To Practice As A Radiologic Technologist.

  • Experience With Various Imaging Modalities: Candidates Must Have Experience In Performing Diagnostic Imaging Procedures Using X-Ray, Mri, Ct, And/Or Ultrasound Equipment.

  • Knowledge Of Radiation Safety Protocols: Radiologic Technicians At Uc Health Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Radiation Safety Regulations And Be Able To Effectively Implement Them In Their Work.
