
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic tests, to accurately diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and making referrals to specialists when necessary.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and seamless care to patients.
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment options, and preventative measures to promote optimal health and wellness.
- Utilize electronic medical records to document patient care and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Adhere to established protocols, guidelines, and standards of care in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay current with advancements in healthcare and provide evidence-based care.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients and their families, demonstrating sensitivity to cultural, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, using clear and concise language to ensure understanding and promote collaboration.

Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies Or Nurse Practitioner Program From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Urgent Care Setting.
Current State Licensure And Certification As A Physician Assistant Or Nurse Practitioner.
Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge In The Diagnosis And Treatment Of Acute Illnesses And Injuries.
Ability To Work Autonomously And Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team To Provide High-Quality Patient Care.
