We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering quality urgent care services to patients of all ages.   1. Provide exceptional care to patients of all ages in the urgent care setting.
  2. Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high quality care.
  3. Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  4. Administer medications and perform procedures as needed.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding of treatment plans and follow-up care.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  7. Stay updated on current medical practices and guidelines to ensure the delivery of evidence-based care.
  8. Prioritize urgent cases and effectively manage time to ensure timely patient care.
  9. Provide education and counseling to patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and overall clinic efficiency.
  11. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  12. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate seamless transitions of care.
  13. Uphold the mission and values of UC Health in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.
  14. Mentor and train new staff members as needed.
  15. Maintain professional development by attending conferences and continuing education opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Unrestricted License To Practice As A Physician Assistant Or Nurse Practitioner In The State Of Employment.

  • Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies Or Nurse Practitioner Program, With A Specialization In Urgent Care Or Emergency Medicine.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Clinical Experience In Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Knowledge And Skills In Performing Diagnostic And Therapeutic Procedures, Such As Suturing And Wound Care, Splinting, And Administering Injections.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Healthcare Professionals And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients In Urgent Situations.
