  1. Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients with pelvic health issues.
  2. Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Utilize evidence-based techniques and modalities to improve patient outcomes.
  4. Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  5. Educate patients on their condition and provide recommendations for at-home exercises and self-care.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans.
  8. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in patient care and maintain patient confidentiality.
  9. Stay updated on advancements in the field of pelvic health and incorporate new techniques and treatments into practice.
  10. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of protocols and procedures.
  11. Provide guidance and support to Physical Therapist Assistants and other support staff.
  12. Uphold a positive and professional attitude while working with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  13. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  14. Continuously strive for personal and professional growth and development.
  15. Represent the organization in a positive manner and promote its mission and values.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy Or Related Field Is Required For The Position Of Physical Therapist I, Pelvic Health At Uc Health.

  • State Licensure: Applicants Must Possess A Valid State License To Practice As A Physical Therapist In The State Of Employment, Or Be Eligible To Obtain One.

  • Specialized Training In Pelvic Health: Candidates Should Have Completed Specialized Training In Pelvic Health And Have Experience In Treating Patients With Pelvic Floor Dysfunction.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Essential In This Role As It Involves Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals To Develop And Implement Treatment Plans.

  • Ability To Work Independently And In A Team: The Role Of A Physical Therapist I, Pelvic Health At Uc Health Requires Both Independent And Collaborative Work. The Candidate Should Be Able To Work Efficiently As Part Of A Team And Also Demonstrate Strong Initiative And Problem-Solving Skills When Working Independently.
