  1. Lead and supervise a team of pharmacists to ensure high-quality care for patients.
  2. Create and implement effective training programs for pharmacists to continuously improve their skills and knowledge in oncology and cell therapy services.
  3. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for pharmacy operations in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy services into patient care.
  5. Monitor and analyze medication orders and patient profiles to ensure accuracy, safety, and effectiveness.
  6. Oversee inventory management and ordering of medications and supplies.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all medications and patient information.
  8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to pharmacy practices.
  9. Provide clinical support and guidance to pharmacists in complex cases and medication management.
  10. Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and quality improvement initiatives.
  11. Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in oncology and cell therapy services.
  12. Respond to patient and family inquiries and concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
  13. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and employee satisfaction.
  14. Act as a role model and mentor for pharmacists, promoting professional growth and development.
  15. Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements to enhance patient care and safety.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution: A Pharmacist Supervisor At Uc Health Must Possess A Pharmd Degree From An Accredited Institution, Demonstrating A Strong Foundation In Pharmaceutical Sciences.

  • Active Pharmacist License In The State Of Employment: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid And Active Pharmacist License In The State Where The Uc Health Facility Is Located. This Ensures Compliance With State Laws And Regulations Governing The Practice Of Pharmacy.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Oncology Pharmacy: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working In An Oncology Pharmacy Setting, With A Strong Understanding Of Chemotherapy Agents And Their Administration.

  • Previous Supervisory Or Leadership Experience: The Pharmacist Supervisor Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Pharmacists And Pharmacy Technicians, Making Previous Supervisory Or Leadership Experience A Necessary Qualification.

  • Knowledge Of Cell Therapy And Immunotherapy: The Ip Oncology & Cell Therapy Center Services At Uc Health Focuses On Cutting-Edge Treatments Such As Cell Therapy And Immunotherapy. Therefore, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of These Treatment Modalities And Their Unique Pharmacy Requirements.
