  1. Greet and welcome patients and their families in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Manage and prioritize patient admissions, ensuring a smooth and timely process.
  3. Collect and verify patient information, including personal and insurance details.
  4. Answer patient inquiries and provide accurate information about the admission process.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary medical records and ensure accurate patient information.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  7. Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.
  8. Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations for services.
  9. Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper scheduling and coordination of patient care.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to address any concerns or issues.
  11. Identify and escalate any urgent or critical patient needs to appropriate personnel.
  12. Ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient information in electronic medical records.
  13. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  15. Continuously strive to provide exceptional service and improve the patient experience.
  16. Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
  17. Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
  18. Serve as a positive and professional representative of UC Health.
  19. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
