- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and researchers to understand research objectives and capture high-quality images of the eye.
- Operate and maintain ophthalmic imaging equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for capturing images, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Assist with patient preparation and positioning for imaging procedures.
- Review and edit images to ensure clarity, proper labeling, and adherence to research requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all imaging procedures and patient data.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment, reporting any issues to superiors.
- Stay up-to-date on current advancements and techniques in ophthalmic imaging.
- Follow safety and infection control protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and researchers to provide support and contribute to collaborative efforts.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and research data.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Assist with data analysis and documentation as needed.

Knowledge Of Ophthalmic Imaging: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Ophthalmic Imaging Techniques, Such As Fundus Photography, Fluorescein Angiography, And Optical Coherence Tomography.
Experience With Research Protocols: Previous Experience Working In A Research Setting And Familiarity With Research Protocols, Including Patient Confidentiality And Data Management, Is Essential For This Role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency In Using Imaging Equipment, Such As Digital Cameras, Slit-Lamp Biomicroscopes, And Image Analysis Software, Is Necessary For Conducting High-Quality Imaging Procedures.
Attention To Detail: Ophthalmic Imaging Requires A High Level Of Precision And Accuracy. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Attention To Detail And The Ability To Follow Protocols And Procedures Meticulously.
