  1. Perform various technical procedures and tasks within a medical practice setting, including but not limited to taking patient vitals, collecting specimens, and administering medications as directed by healthcare providers.
  2. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks performed, maintaining the highest level of quality care for patients.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear and concise instructions and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to coordinate patient care and ensure a seamless and efficient workflow.
  6. Accurately document patient information, including medical history, current medications, and treatment plans, in electronic medical records.
  7. Continuously update and maintain knowledge of medical procedures, equipment, and protocols to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  8. Demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion towards patients, recognizing their individual needs and providing support and reassurance as needed.
  9. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  10. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to the role.
  11. Act as a positive representative of UC Health, promoting a culture of exceptional patient care and service excellence.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by healthcare providers or management, contributing to the overall success of the medical practice.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Credential

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Medical Practice Setting

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients And Healthcare Team Members
