- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate levels are maintained at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of all supplies and equipment, including tracking usage and expiration dates.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on medical equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Order and stock supplies as needed, following proper storage and handling protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and fulfill supply needs for patient care.
- Assist with the proper disposal of expired or damaged supplies, following safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized supply room, ensuring supplies are easily accessible.
- Assist with the distribution of supplies to various departments and patient care areas.
- Communicate any supply shortages or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
- Keep up-to-date with new medical supplies and equipment, making recommendations for improvement when necessary.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent customer service to all patients and staff.
- Abide by all hospital policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or department leadership.
Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, As Well As Stand For Extended Periods Of Time.
Bachelor's Degree In Materials Science, Engineering, Or Related Field.
Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
Knowledge Of Inventory Management Systems And Experience With Ordering And Tracking Materials.
Familiarity With Laboratory Safety Protocols And Proper Handling Of Hazardous Materials.
