  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems at UC Health facilities.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems and make necessary repairs.
  3. Ensure all HVAC systems are running efficiently and effectively to maintain a comfortable and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  4. Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering staff to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all work performed and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices in HVAC maintenance and repair.
  8. Communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers, supervisors, and other departments.
  9. Monitor and order necessary supplies and equipment for HVAC maintenance and repairs.
  10. Provide excellent customer service to all individuals, including patients, staff, and visitors.
  11. Respond promptly to emergency HVAC repairs as needed.
  12. Train and mentor junior HVAC technicians as needed.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  14. Follow all company policies and procedures.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures related to HVAC maintenance and repairs.

Job Qualifications
  • Hvac Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Valid And Up-To-Date Hvac Certification, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Skills In Heating, Ventilation, And Air Conditioning Systems.

  • Experience In Healthcare Facilities: Uc Health Operates Various Healthcare Facilities, And The Hvac Mechanic Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Similar Setting. This Ensures They Are Familiar With The Unique Requirements And Regulations Of Healthcare Hvac Systems.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Standards: Working In A Healthcare Environment Requires Strict Adherence To Safety Standards To Protect Patients, Staff, And The Building. The Hvac Mechanic Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Protocols, Including Osha And Joint Commission Regulations.
