- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems and make necessary repairs.
- Ensure all HVAC systems are running efficiently and effectively to maintain a comfortable and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering staff to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices in HVAC maintenance and repair.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers, supervisors, and other departments.
- Monitor and order necessary supplies and equipment for HVAC maintenance and repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service to all individuals, including patients, staff, and visitors.
- Respond promptly to emergency HVAC repairs as needed.
- Train and mentor junior HVAC technicians as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures related to HVAC maintenance and repairs.

Experience In Healthcare Facilities: Uc Health Operates Various Healthcare Facilities, And The Hvac Mechanic Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Similar Setting. This Ensures They Are Familiar With The Unique Requirements And Regulations Of Healthcare Hvac Systems.
