7. Identify areas for process improvement and cost-saving initiatives, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of clinical engineering operations.
8. Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical technology and equipment, and make recommendations for upgrades and replacements as needed.
9. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including but not limited to Joint Commission, FDA, and OSHA.
10. Provide regular reports and updates on the status of clinical engineering operations, including performance metrics, budget, and any issues or challenges.
11. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the clinical engineering team, promoting a safe and inclusive work environment.
12. Represent UC Health and the clinical engineering department in meetings, conferences, and other professional events.
13. Collaborate with other departments and teams within UC Health to achieve common goals and objectives, and support a holistic approach to patient care.
