- Perform CT scans on patients in a safe and efficient manner, following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Set up and operate CT equipment, ensuring proper positioning and image quality.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions or complications.
- Review and evaluate images to ensure quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, including patient history and any contrast used.
- Monitor and order necessary supplies and equipment, ensuring proper inventory levels.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements and changes in CT technology and techniques.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and radiation safety guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and their families.
- Participate in departmental and hospital meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in the training and supervision of new staff, students, and residents.
- Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and contribute to the overall success of the department and organization.
Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Ct Technologist
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Science Or Related Field
Certification In Computed Tomography (Ct) By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt)
Knowledge Of Current Ct Technology And Procedures
