  1. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  2. Perform regular inspections and calibrations of medical equipment to ensure accuracy and safety.
  3. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, taking appropriate action to resolve any problems.
  4. Keep detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inventory.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and effective responses to equipment issues.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in medical equipment technology.
  7. Train and educate staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  8. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while working with equipment.
  9. Identify and report any potential safety hazards or risks related to equipment.
  10. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
  11. Communicate with equipment vendors and manage relationships to ensure timely repairs and replacements.
  12. Participate in on-call rotation for emergency equipment repairs.
  13. Collaborate with purchasing department to ensure timely and cost-effective equipment purchases.
  14. Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
  15. Act as a resource for other healthcare professionals on equipment usage and troubleshooting.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate Degree In Biomedical Equipment Technology Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In The Repair And Maintenance Of Medical Equipment

  • Knowledge Of Electronic And Mechanical Equipment Troubleshooting And Repair

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations, Including Hipaa And Fda Guidelines

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With Healthcare Professionals And Departmental Staff
