- Conduct initial assessments of patients to determine their mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients with mental health challenges, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and healthy coping strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all interactions with patients and their information.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and make recommendations for treatment.
- Stay current with the latest research, trends, and best practices in the field of behavioral health.
- Continuously evaluate program effectiveness and make suggestions for improvements.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in acute distress.
- Advocate for patients’ needs and rights within the healthcare system.
- Collaborate with community resources and refer patients to appropriate services as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while working with patients and colleagues.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Or A Related Field.
At Least One Year Of Experience Working In A Behavioral Health Setting.
Knowledge Of And Experience With Evidence-Based Therapeutic Techniques And Interventions.
Ability To Work With Individuals From Diverse Backgrounds And Cultures.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team.
