
Sr. Vendor Manager, Sales & Growth Operations, US&C

- Develop and implement vendor management strategies to support sales growth and enhance customer experience.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
- Monitor vendor performance and identify areas for improvement, working with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify potential partnership opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends and conduct market research to identify potential new vendors or partnership opportunities.
- Develop and maintain metrics to track vendor performance and provide regular reports to leadership.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment and successful execution of partnership initiatives.
- Manage vendor budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of sales operations processes and systems.
- Lead and mentor a team of vendor managers, providing guidance and support to drive team success.
- Continuously assess and improve vendor management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Represent Uber in a professional and positive manner in all interactions with vendors and partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure vendor partnerships align with overall business strategy and goals.
- Stay informed on regulations and industry standards related to vendor management and ensure compliance.
- Identify and implement best practices for vendor management to enhance overall performance and success.
Extensive Sales And Vendor Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Sales And Vendor Management, Preferably In The Technology Or Transportation Industry. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Growing Vendor Relationships, As Well As Driving Sales Growth.
Strong Analytical Skills: This Role Requires A Candidate Who Is Highly Analytical And Data-Driven. They Should Have The Ability To Analyze Large Sets Of Data, Identify Trends, And Use Insights To Make Strategic Decisions That Drive Sales And Growth.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: As A Sr. Vendor Manager, Sales & Growth Operations, Us&C, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing And Negotiating Contracts With Vendors. Therefore, Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills Are Essential To Effectively Communicate Expectations, Resolve Conflicts, And Maintain Positive Relationships With Vendors.
