Job Description

Uber is seeking an experienced Software Engineer - iOS to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing best-in-class mobile experiences and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with iOS applications. We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and has a deep understanding of the iOS platform.To be successful in this role, you should have experience developing iOS applications and a proven track record of successful projects. You should be comfortable with Objective-C and Swift and be knowledgeable of the latest trends and technologies in the iOS space. You should also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with other engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders.If you are a self-starter with a drive to succeed and an eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop iOS applications that meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.
  2. Design and implement features that improve the user experience on iOS platforms.
  3. Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to design and implement features.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing and new iOS applications.
  5. Ensure code is well-structured and optimized for performance and reliability.
  6. Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the iOS space.
  7. Produce technical documentation to support the development process.
  8. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or A Related Field

  • + Years Of Experience Developing Mobile Applications On Ios

  • Proven Ability To Utilize Swift

  • Objective-C

  • Extensive Experience With Mobile Ui/Ux Design

  • Familiarity With Restful Apis To Connect Ios Applications To Back-End Services

  • Ability To Interpret And Debug Complex Code
