  1. Develop and maintain the Android app for marketplace partners, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for riders and drivers.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for the Android app.
  3. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members to ensure high-quality code.
  4. Utilize your strong understanding of the Android platform to make technical decisions and propose solutions to complex problems.
  5. Identify and troubleshoot issues in the app and implement effective solutions.
  6. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Android development and implement them into the app.
  7. Work closely with product managers and designers to understand user needs and provide innovative solutions.
  8. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in adherence to coding standards.
  9. Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  10. Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise in Android development.
  11. Collaborate with the QA team to ensure the app is thoroughly tested and meets high-quality standards.
  12. Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on the progress of projects.
  13. Continuously strive to improve app performance and optimize for different Android devices.
  14. Assist in troubleshooting and fixing production issues as needed.
  15. Contribute to the overall improvement of the Uber app by sharing ideas and suggestions for enhancements.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficient In Java And Kotlin Programming Languages.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Developing Android Applications In A Professional Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of The Android Platform And Ecosystem, Including Knowledge Of Third-Party Libraries, Apis, And Development Tools.

  • Experience Developing And Maintaining Applications On The Google Play Store, With A Proven Track Record Of Delivering High-Quality, User-Friendly Products.
