Job Description

Whether providing more accurate ETAs or helping drivers navigate to the perfect pick-up spot, our mapping technologies are integral to the magic of the Uber platform. The GSS Maps team focuses on solutions to make the platform accurate, fresh, safe, and reliable. Accountable for all operational deliverables for Living Maps and Places Data. Delivering on operational metrics for efficiency and quality. Driving tools and system improvements in collaboration with engineering. Expanding support to new product areas to drive impact. Define half yearly goals and drive operations strategy. Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to influence process improvements. Manage a team of contractors to test and rollout system improvements, collaborate with engineering on bugs and pilot projects. Pilot and scale new initiatives to support product and engineering needs within and beyond maps.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of operations management

  • Experience in incubating and scaling large processes

  • Maps Domain knowledge is a plus

  • Experience in working with Engineering and Product teams
