  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive product marketing strategy for our merchant partners, in alignment with the overall company objectives.
  2. Lead a team of product marketers to drive the success of our merchant business, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, sales, and operations to ensure alignment and execution of marketing initiatives.
  4. Conduct market research and analyze data to identify growth opportunities and inform product marketing decisions.
  5. Create and manage marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the value proposition of our products to merchant partners.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key merchant partners, understanding their needs and providing solutions to drive their success.
  7. Monitor and report on key performance metrics to track the success of product marketing initiatives.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor strategies to inform product positioning and marketing strategies.
  9. Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the product marketing function, identifying and implementing new ideas and best practices.
  10. Represent the company at industry events and conferences, promoting our merchant products and building brand awareness.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Product Marketing: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Product Marketing, Preferably In The Technology Or E-Commerce Industry. They Should Have A Strong Track Record Of Successfully Launching And Driving Adoption Of New Products.

  • Deep Understanding Of The Merchant Landscape: The Head Of Merchant Product Marketing Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of The Merchant Landscape, Including The Needs And Pain Points Of Different Types Of Merchants. This Knowledge Will Be Crucial In Developing Effective Marketing Strategies And Messaging.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: This Role Requires A Candidate Who Can Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team Of Product Marketers. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Proven Experience In Managing And Developing A High-Performing Team, With The Ability To Set Clear Goals And Drive Results.

  • Data-Driven Mindset: Uber Is A Data-Driven Company, And The Head Of Merchant Product Marketing Should Have A Strong Analytical Mindset. They Should Be Able To Use Data To Inform Decision-Making And Measure The Success Of Marketing Initiatives.
