As a part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for driving the global marketing strategy for our Shared Rides feature, a key component of our platform that connects riders with others going in the same direction. This role requires a strategic thinker, with a strong understanding of the transportation industry and a passion for creating impactful marketing campaigns.   1. Develop and implement a comprehensive global marketing strategy for Uber's Shared Rides division, including defining target audiences, messaging, channels, and campaigns.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, sales, and operations to ensure alignment and execution of marketing initiatives.
  3. Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competition, and use insights to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
  4. Develop and manage the marketing budget for the Shared Rides division, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  5. Create and execute impactful marketing campaigns that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention for the Shared Rides feature.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and media outlets.
  7. Track and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and future campaigns.
  8. Utilize data and analytics to continuously improve the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions.
  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and techniques, and continuously innovate and improve the marketing strategy for Shared Rides.
  10. Act as a brand ambassador for Uber and represent the company at industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements.
  11. Mentor and manage a team of product marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  12. Uphold Uber's mission and values, and ensure all marketing activities align with the company's overall goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Relevant Education: A Global Product Marketing Manager, Shared Rides At Uber Should Have A Bachelor's Degree In Marketing, Business, Or A Related Field. A Master's Degree In Marketing Or Business Administration Would Be Preferred.

  • Experience In Product Marketing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Product Marketing, Preferably In The Technology Or Transportation Industry. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Product Positioning, Messaging, And Go-To-Market Strategies.

  • Global Market Knowledge: Since This Role Will Involve Overseeing Shared Rides In Multiple Countries, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Global Market Trends, Consumer Behavior, And Competitive Landscape.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Global Product Marketing Manager, This Role Will Require Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Product Development, Sales, And Regional Marketing Teams.

  • Data-Driven Approach: A Successful Candidate Should Have A Strong Analytical Mindset And Be Comfortable Working With Data To Make Informed Decisions. They Should Also Have Experience In Conducting Market Research And Using Data To Drive Marketing Strategies.
