  1. Develop and implement effective strategies for managing and minimizing claims for the company.
  2. Oversee all aspects of the claims process, including investigation, evaluation, and settlement.
  3. Analyze claim trends and develop proactive measures to reduce risk and improve overall claim management.
  4. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to claims.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as insurance companies and legal counsel.
  6. Manage a team of claims professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure timely and accurate handling of claims.
  7. Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and finance, to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  8. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to claims, such as claim frequency and severity.
  9. Conduct regular audits to ensure claims are being handled in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to claims management and make recommendations for improvement.
  11. Act as a liaison between the company and customers to resolve any escalated claims issues.
  12. Work closely with the customer service team to ensure a seamless and satisfactory claims experience for customers.
  13. Develop and maintain a crisis management plan for potential high-profile or high-risk claims.
  14. Collaborate with the legal team to defend and protect the company's assets in the event of litigation.
  15. Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with external stakeholders related to claims.
