As an integral member of our AV team, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining state-of-the-art audio and visual systems for our live events.   1. Design and implement cutting-edge audio and visual systems for live events.
  2. Install and set up AV equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability.
  3. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely and effective solutions.
  4. Collaborate with event planners and production teams to understand the technical requirements of each event and ensure seamless execution.
  5. Ensure all AV systems are in compliance with safety and industry standards.
  6. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks before and after each event.
  7. Maintain and update AV equipment, including software updates and repairs.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and trends to continuously improve event experiences.
  9. Manage and maintain inventory of AV equipment and supplies.
  10. Train and assist event staff on proper usage and handling of AV systems.
  11. Work closely with external vendors and contractors to coordinate equipment rentals and purchases.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure a smooth and successful event.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including budget and timeline requirements.
  14. Proactively identify and address potential technical issues to prevent disruptions during events.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while representing the company at events.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Live Event Production: The Av Live Events Systems Engineer At Uber Should Have A Deep Understanding Of All Aspects Of Live Event Production, Including Audio, Video, Lighting, And Staging. They Should Be Well-Versed In Current Industry Trends And Technologies.

  • Technical Expertise: This Role Requires Strong Technical Skills, Including Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Audio, Video, And Lighting Equipment. The Ideal Candidate Should Also Have Experience With Live Streaming, Video Conferencing, And Virtual Event Platforms.
