Job Description

We are looking for a highly-qualified System Administrator/Communications Analyst to join the U.S. Federal Reserve System. The ideal candidate for this role will have an extensive background in IT systems management and communications analysis. This position is responsible for providing technical support to users of the Federal Reserve System's IT systems and ensuring their proper functioning. The successful candidate must possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills to ensure the smooth running of our IT systems.We are seeking a professional with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, as well as at least five years of professional experience in IT systems management and communications analysis. The successful candidate will also have an in-depth understanding of network infrastructure, system security, and troubleshooting. Furthermore, the ideal candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support to users of the Federal Reserve System's IT systems
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the systems
  3. Monitor the performance of the systems and ensure proper functioning
  4. Analyze and optimize network infrastructure and system security
  5. Develop and implement strategies for managing communications systems
  6. Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems
  7. Train and mentor team members on system administration and communications analysis
  8. Monitor system logs and audit security systems
  9. Implement and enforce security policies and procedures
  10. Respond to system malfunctions and conduct root cause analysis
