Job Description

The U.S. Federal Reserve System is looking for an experienced Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development and/or quality assurance, as well as excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence. We are looking for someone with a passion for quality assurance and an ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to ensure the highest quality of our products. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and/or quality assurance, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills, a working knowledge of test automation tools, and experience with Agile/Scrum methodology. An understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) is a plus. If you have the qualifications and passion for quality assurance, we would love to have you join our team!

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop quality assurance processes, procedures and guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address any potential quality issues.
  3. Develop, execute and maintain test plans and strategies for various applications.
  4. Monitor and analyze test results to ensure products meet requirements.
  5. Develop and utilize automated testing tools to optimize test efficiency.
  6. Develop and maintain test documentation such as test cases, test plans, user guides, and bug reports.
  7. Investigate and troubleshoot software issues and recommend solutions.
  8. Track and report on project progress and quality assurance metrics.
  9. Remain up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends.
  10. Participate in Agile/Scrum methodology and provide feedback on process improvements.
