Job Description

The U.S. Federal Reserve System is looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Sr Business Analyst (Metadata Specialist) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be an analytical problem solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex business systems and processes.This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, system development, and/or metadata management. The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of metadata management principles and practices, along with a strong ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and develop solutions that address complex business requirements. In addition, the ability to make recommendations for improvements, data integrity, and overall system performance will be essential.This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced and highly respected organization. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies and processes for metadata management.
  2. Analyze complex business systems and processes and identify areas of improvement.
  3. Make recommendations for data integrity, system performance, and improved efficiency.
  4. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to address complex business requirements.
  5. Utilize problem-solving skills to develop solutions and ensure successful implementation.
  6. Maintain detailed records of all metadata management activities and changes.
  7. Monitor and audit metadata management systems and processes regularly.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve any metadata-related issues that may arise.
  9. Provide training and guidance to other team members on metadata management principles and practices.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
