Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Manager, Currency Issuance & Quality to join the U.S. Federal Reserve System! In this role, you will be responsible for driving the design, issuance, and quality assurance for all paper currency and coinage. To be successful in this role, you must have an in-depth knowledge of monetary policy and banking regulations, as well as a track record of success in a similar role. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies for the design, issuance, and quality assurance of paper currency and coinage in accordance with U.S. Federal Reserve System protocols.
  2. Monitor and analyze the impact of monetary policy and banking regulations on the U.S. money supply.
  3. Create reports and presentations outlining the progress of currency issuance and quality assurance initiatives.
  4. Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including financial institutions and government agencies.
  5. Develop and implement protocols to ensure the security of the U.S. money supply.
  6. Evaluate and monitor the performance of staff and external vendors to ensure compliance with currency issuance and quality assurance standards.
  7. Analyze and review currency issuance and quality assurance data to identify areas of improvement.
  8. Research and recommend new technologies and processes to improve the efficiency of currency issuance and quality assurance processes.
  9. Serve as an expert and resource on currency issuance and quality assurance policies and procedures.
  10. Manage the budget and resources for currency issuance and quality assurance initiatives.
