
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an experienced, dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. We are proud to serve our nation’s veterans, and strive to provide the highest quality care and services. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to our veteran patients in a fast-paced, high stress environment. You will be required to assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient needs.The ideal candidate should have a current license to practice nursing in the State of [State], as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related field. Advanced certifications, such as CEN or American Heart Association (AHA) certifications, are preferred. In addition, you must have experience in Emergency Medicine and possess excellent patient care and communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a multidisciplinary team is essential. Finally, the ability to work under pressure and in stressful situations is a must.
Possess An Active
Unrestricted License As A Registered Nurse In A State
Territory Or Commonwealth Of The United States
Possess A Bachelor's Of Science In Nursing (Bsn)
At Least Two Years Of Recent Experience As A Registered Nurse In An Emergency Department Setting
Knowledge Of And Experience With The Use Of Electronic Medical Records Systems
Demonstrated Ability To Work Independently With Minimal Supervision
