
Supervisory Foreign Affairs Specialist
The U.S. Department of Transportation is looking for a talented and motivated Supervisory Foreign Affairs Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations and activities related to foreign affairs, and will serve as a liaison between the Department and foreign governments. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with foreign governments in order to facilitate effective communication between the Department and foreign governments.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of foreign affairs-related activities.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on foreign affairs events and developments.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the Department’s objectives and interests in foreign affairs.
- Prepare briefings, reports, and other documents related to foreign affairs.
- Work with other government agencies and foreign governments to coordinate efforts and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Participate in diplomatic negotiations and international conferences as needed.
- Supervise and direct the work of subordinate personnel.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols related to foreign affairs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Or Related Field
Bachelor’s Degree Or Higher In International Relations
Public Policy
Demonstrated Knowledge Of Foreign Affairs/International Trade
Five Or More Years Of Experience In The Field Of International Trade Or Related Field
Ability To Provide Technical Guidance And Advice On Foreign Affairs Activities
