
Railroad Safety Inspector
The U.S. Department of Transportation is looking for a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Railroad Safety Inspector. In this important role, you will be responsible for ensuring that railroad operations comply with federal and state safety regulations. As a Railroad Safety Inspector, you must have extensive knowledge of railroad safety regulations and safety practices, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You must also be able to effectively inspect and evaluate the safety of railroad operations, and provide guidance and instruction to railroad personnel on safety regulations and practices. In addition, you must be able to identify and document safety violations and develop corrective action plans.We are looking for a team player who is organized and detail-oriented, and who has the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
