Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Physical Scientist to join the U.S. Department of Transportation team. This individual will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the development, implementation, and evaluation of physical science-related programs and projects. The successful candidate must be able to analyze complex data and scientific information, develop solutions to complex problems, and apply their knowledge to support the mission of the Department of Transportation.This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in physical sciences, engineering, or a related field. Knowledge of the principles, theories, and practices of the physical sciences is also necessary. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate should have experience with project management, data analysis, and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
