Job Description

The U.S. Department of Transportation is looking for an ambitious and talented Industrial Engineer with a passion for improving efficiency and productivity. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and designing efficient systems that integrate personnel, materials, information, and equipment. You will be instrumental in helping the Department of Transportation reach their operational goals. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, with at least five years of experience in industrial engineering or a related field. You must have a thorough understanding of engineering principles, methodology, and techniques, and be highly organized with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. You must be comfortable with using computers to analyze data, create models, and create reports. Additionally, you must be able to create and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors.

Responsibilities:
