
Attorney Adviser
The U.S. Department of Transportation is seeking an experienced and passionate Attorney Adviser to provide legal advice and guidance to the Department's leadership. The ideal candidate for this role will be an organized and strategic thinker who is committed to providing guidance and assistance with the most complex legal issues. The successful candidate must possess a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school, be admitted to a state bar and have at least four years of post-admission legal experience. Additionally, the candidate should have a demonstrated knowledge of the Department's legislation, regulations, and procedures, as well as a strong understanding of administrative law, federal litigation, and judicial proceedings. The Attorney Adviser will be a formidable advocate for the Department and must demonstrate excellent communication, research, and writing skills. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to work independently and in a team environment, possess a strong commitment to customer service, and demonstrate the highest level of professionalism.
