
Management and Program Analyst
The U.S. Department of the Treasury is seeking an experienced, motivated, and analytical Management and Program Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and program support to the Department in order to facilitate effective program management and decision making. You will provide technical expertise in evaluating and analyzing program data in order to inform the development of performance metrics, and coordinate the development and implementation of program initiatives. You must be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and have a passion for problem-solving.To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field as well as at least two years of professional experience in program analysis or related field. You should be an excellent communicator with strong analytical skills and be adept at creating comprehensive reports. Knowledge of data analysis software such as Excel, Tableau, SAS, and/or SQL is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct program analysis and provide technical assistance to the Department in order to facilitate effective program management and decision making.
- Develop performance metrics and coordinate the development and implementation of program initiatives.
- Analyze program data to inform the development of performance metrics.
- Create comprehensive reports based on the program data.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Use data analysis software such as Excel, Tableau, SAS, and/or SQL to support program analysis.
- Monitor and analyze program performance metrics and recommend changes when necessary.
- Provide support to the Department in developing and implementing program initiatives.
- Research and analyze data from various sources and compile reports to inform decision making.
- Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of program goals, objectives, and strategies.
