
Information Technology Specialist
We are looking for a talented Information Technology (IT) Specialist to join the U.S. Department of the Treasury and help us maintain and improve our IT systems and networks. The ideal candidate for this role should be a highly motivated professional with a deep understanding of IT systems, networks and administration. They should have excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the Treasury's IT systems and networks.
- Provide technical support and assistance to users of the Treasury’s IT systems.
- Troubleshoot any IT-related issues and recommend solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IT technologies and trends.
- Configure and install software, hardware and networks.
- Monitor system performance and security.
- Maintain system documentation and user manuals.
- Develop and maintain data backup plans.
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations regarding IT systems.
- Provide excellent customer service to Treasury staff.

Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science
