- Serve as a subject matter expert on all employee and labor relations matters within the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR policies, procedures, and practices.
- Conduct investigations and make recommendations for resolution of employee grievances and complaints.
- Develop and implement employee relations programs to promote a positive and productive work environment.
- Stay current on all relevant laws and regulations related to employee and labor relations.
- Collaborate with HR team members and other departments to ensure consistency and alignment in HR practices and procedures.
- Act as a resource for employees and managers, responding to inquiries and providing guidance on a wide range of HR topics.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all employee and labor relations activities.
- Provide support in collective bargaining negotiations and labor contract administration.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide analysis and recommendations for improving employee retention and engagement.
- Monitor and track employee relations trends and make recommendations for proactive measures to maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to employee and labor relations.
- Continuously assess and improve HR policies and procedures to align with best practices and promote a positive work culture.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Employee And Labor Relations, Preferably In A Government Or Large Organization Setting.
Knowledge Of Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Employment And Labor, Including Title Vii, Fmla, And Flsa.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Handle Conflicts And Negotiate With Employees And Labor Unions.
Experience In Conducting Investigations And Resolving Complex Employee Relations Issues, Including Disciplinary Actions And Grievances.
