- Serve as a trusted advisor to Treasury officials on legal and policy matters related to the intersection of law and finance.

- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to support decision-making processes.
- Draft and review legal documents, including briefs, memoranda, and reports.
- Collaborate with other government agencies, stakeholders, and external partners to develop and implement policies and initiatives.
- Monitor and stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal developments.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to promote financial stability.
- Conduct legal reviews and assessments to identify potential risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Represent the U.S. Department of the Treasury in legal proceedings and negotiations.
- Communicate complex legal concepts and information to non-legal stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all work.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior legal staff on legal and policy matters.
- Participate in trainings, conferences, and other professional development opportunities to stay current on legal and financial trends and issues.
- Contribute to the overall mission and goals of the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.
Active Membership In Good Standing With A State Bar Association.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Practicing Law, Preferably In A Government Or Regulatory Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Federal Laws And Regulations, Particularly In The Areas Of Finance, Tax, And Economic Policy.
Excellent Analytical, Communication, And Writing Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advise And Communicate Complex Legal Issues To Diverse Stakeholders.
