  1. Design and implement workforce development programs that align with the Department's mission and goals.
  2. Collaborate with other team members to develop strategies for promoting the growth and development of the American workforce.
  3. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of existing workforce development programs and make recommendations for improvements.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in workforce development to ensure programs are innovative and effective.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employers, educational institutions, and community organizations, to support workforce development initiatives.
  6. Conduct research and gather data to inform decision-making and program development.
  7. Provide leadership and guidance to team members, including mentoring and coaching.
  8. Develop and deliver presentations and training sessions to promote awareness and understanding of workforce development initiatives.
  9. Collaborate with diversity and inclusion specialists to ensure all programs are inclusive and promote diversity.
  10. Monitor and report on program outcomes and make recommendations for adjustments to improve effectiveness.
  11. Advocate for workforce development initiatives and educate the public on the importance of investing in the American workforce.
  12. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth to enhance skills and knowledge in workforce development.
  14. Represent the Department at conferences, events, and meetings to promote and share information about workforce development initiatives.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to the Department's mission and values, and promote a positive and inclusive work culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Education, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Workforce Development, Job Training, Or Career Counseling.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal Labor Laws And Regulations, As Well As Current Labor Market Trends.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Diverse Groups.

  • Familiarity With Data Analysis And Reporting, With The Ability To Use Data To Inform Program Development And Improvement.
