Job Description

The U.S. Department of Labor seeks an International Relations Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of labor policies, programs, and services in the international arena. The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of international organizations and labor policies, and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the Department's mission. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in international relations, political science, economics, or a related field, and at least three years of relevant experience in international relations. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to work in a multicultural environment and the capacity to understand and analyze foreign policy issues is a must.The International Relations Specialist will serve as a key member of the Department of Labor’s International Relations team, responsible for the development, implementation, management, and evaluation of international labor policy initiatives. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The International Relations Specialist will be a critical part of a multidisciplinary team and will be responsible for ensuring that the Department of Labor’s international labor policy initiatives are implemented in a timely and efficient manner.
