Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Economist/Statistician to join the Economics team at the U.S. Department of Labor. This position requires a combination of strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of individuals. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in economics or a related field, as well as at least two years of experience in economics or statistics. They should also have an aptitude for collecting and analyzing data to draw meaningful conclusions. Responsibilities:

  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data.
  6. Monitor economic trends and developments in the labor market.
  7. Utilize statistical and econometric tools for data analysis.
  8. Create economic forecasts to inform and advise the team on the future of the labor market.
