  1. Oversee and manage all programs and initiatives within the U.S. Department of Labor that impact American workers.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
  3. Monitor program budgets and ensure that resources are allocated appropriately.
  4. Lead and direct a team of program managers and staff to achieve department goals and objectives.
  5. Collaborate with other department leaders to identify and address challenges and opportunities within the American workforce.
  6. Stay up-to-date on labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance and make necessary adjustments to programs and initiatives.
  7. Conduct regular evaluations of programs to measure effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Liaise with external stakeholders such as government agencies, labor unions, and advocacy groups to gather feedback and ensure alignment with department goals.
  9. Represent the department at conferences, meetings, and other events to promote our mission and share best practices.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with key partners to enhance the impact and reach of department programs.
  11. Ensure timely and accurate reporting on program activities and outcomes to department leadership and stakeholders.
  12. Identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration and partnerships with other government agencies and organizations.
  13. Mentor and develop staff to cultivate a high-performing and motivated team.
  14. Respond to inquiries and concerns from the public regarding department programs and initiatives.
  15. Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Business Administration, Public Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Program Administration, Preferably In A Government Or Nonprofit Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Federal Labor Laws And Regulations, As Well As Experience Working With Government Agencies And Stakeholders.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Complex Information To A Variety Of Audiences.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills, Including Experience Managing A Team, Developing And Implementing Policies And Procedures, And Overseeing Budget And Resource Allocation.
