The U.S. Department of Justice is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Utility Systems Repairer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties related to inspecting, maintaining, and repairing utility systems. The ideal candidate will have a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic. To be successful in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and two years of experience in the maintenance and repair of utility systems. Responsibilities:

  1. Inspect utility systems to identify problems and diagnose malfunctions.
  2. Perform repairs to utility systems, including replacing parts and components as necessary.
  3. Maintain records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
  4. Perform preventative maintenance on utility systems to ensure optimal performance.
  5. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with utility systems.
  6. Follow safety protocols when working with utility systems.
  7. Work cooperatively with other team members to complete projects in a timely manner.
  8. Comply with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to utility systems and their maintenance.
  9. Adhere to industry best practices for the maintenance and repair of utility systems.
  10. Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
