Job Description

The U.S. Department of Justice is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Materials Handler to join our team in handling and distributing materials. This is a critical role that requires an individual with strong organizational and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and delivering materials and supplies to designated locations.To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and a minimum of two years’ experience in handling and distributing materials. The candidate should also be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be comfortable working with a variety of hand and power tools. Responsibilites:

  1. Receive, store, and deliver materials and supplies to designated locations.
  2. Lift up to 50 lbs. and work with a variety of hand and power tools.
  3. Organize materials and supplies appropriately and efficiently.
  4. Maintain accurate records and inventory of materials and supplies.
  5. Provide excellent customer service and communication skills.
  6. Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the materials handling process.
  7. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for handling materials.
  8. Ensure materials and supplies are stored and delivered in a timely manner.
  9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
