Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for financial litigation? The U.S. Department of Justice is looking for a Financial Litigation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative, technical, and analytical support to the Financial Litigation Unit (FLU) attorneys. To be successful in this position, you must have a strong background in financial litigation, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be highly organized.   1. Analyze client financial records to identify irregularities and discrepancies.
  2. Review documents related to financial litigation cases and provide detailed reports to FLU attorneys.
  3. Assist with the preparation of court documents, pleadings, and motions.
  4. Prepare and manage client file materials and organize documents for legal proceedings.
  5. Monitor financial litigation cases to ensure compliance with legal procedures.
  6. Maintain accurate records of client financial information.
  7. Provide technical and administrative support to attorneys during financial litigation cases.
  8. Conduct legal research and review relevant documents to ensure accuracy.
  9. Facilitate communication between the FLU and other parties involved in financial litigation cases.
  10. Assist attorneys with preparing closing documents, settlements, and judgments in financial litigation cases.

Job Qualifications
