
Director, Human Resources
The U.S. Department of Justice is seeking a highly qualified Director of Human Resources to join our team. We are looking for an experienced and innovative leader to develop, implement, and manage strategies to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Human Resources Department. The successful candidate must possess strong organizational and communication skills, have an eye for detail and have a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, complex environment. The ideal candidate will be an excellent problem solver who is genuinely committed to delivering a high-quality service to the Department and its employees. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Human Resources Department.
- Train, coach, and mentor staff to ensure high levels of performance.
- Develop and execute programs to recruit and retain qualified personnel.
- Create and manage the Department’s budget.
- Maintain and update the Department’s HR policies and procedures.
- Evaluate employee performance and ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
- Resolve conflict and disputes between employees and managers.
- Advise and provide guidance to Departmental staff on employee relations issues.
- Oversee the development of training and development programs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources
Business
At Least Five Years Of Progressively Responsible Experience In The Field Of Human Resources Management
Extensive Knowledge Of Federal Pay And Benefits Programs
Demonstrated Experience In Leading And Managing Human Resources
Proven Experience In Developing And Administering Effective Personnel Policies
